Yes! We are passionate about helping neurodiverse adults of all ages better understand their brains and themselves to help them grow in their college, work, and relationships in the community.
The assessment process is tailored to each person’s needs and can take place in one longer session or over several shorter visits, depending on the focus and age. We strive to make the experience comfortable and engaging, using interviews, questionnaires, sensory activities, academic testing, or even virtual reality-based tools as needed. Every assessment is personalized to help answer your specific questions and provide meaningful insights.
Counseling sessions last 45–50 minutes and use a blend of approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy to support your growth. Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions and gradually space them out as they gain new understanding and skills.

PRESIDENT
LICENSED EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST
Hi, I’m Bethany.
I’m a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP #4064) and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) with over 15 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults throughout Kern County.
I specialize in evaluations for ADHD, Autism, and learning disorders, and I’m passionate about helping individuals and families gain clarity, understanding, and practical next steps. I’ve worked closely with both private clients and public school districts, and I strive to make the assessment process feel clear, supportive, and human - not overwhelming or clinical.
As a neurodivergent individual with ADHD, this work is deeply personal to me. I take a strengths-based approach and also provide counseling and coaching support for anxiety, emotional regulation, and the day-to-day demands of learning and life.
Outside of my work, I’m a wife, mom of two, and active member of my church community. My Christian faith shapes how I approach my work - with compassion, integrity, and respect for each person’s unique story. When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me reading, attempting DIY furniture projects, playing with my German Shepherd, Lucy, or pinning recipes I’ll probably never make.
